[QZ] How much would you pay to never see an online ad again? - Page 13

Honestly, if this kind of thing is to exist, the ad companies will be the ones that want to administer this.

I'd pay approximately $5, which i donated to APB.

best thing about APB is the whitelist, which lets me add sites i frequent to it.

I would rather see a well placed ad than a big white section of "THIS AD BLOCKED", which is the route my work went for all ad blocking.

I'm in this boat too. Ads can be good if you are smart enough to do your research before throwing down cash, or at the very least for knowing what everyone is going to be talking about.

Now when I accidentally mouse over something and it takes up the whole view, or I get an extra window in the background popping up for no reason, I start to get mad.

I wouldn't. How is this news?
ADs are what many people make money out of. This will screw up economy in someway, and ads aren't that bad.
ADblock plus. Done.

I've donated close to $60 to the creator of AdBlock Plus so far. First time for the Firefox Addon, then when he created one for Chrome I donated again.

Worth every darn penny!

0$ like others I don't mind ads, just those annoying as crap ones which pop-up on the screen and try to hide the close button from you. Or chase you around the screen.
I don't even read those ads they just prevent me from viewing more of the page (with ads).

Also I hate sound ads / ads with music. Annoying as heck when 4 webpages start playing music and I have no idea where it is coming from. mad.gif

Just give me regular old banner ads thumb.gif

Whats an ad? Is it related to that black brick that you put in the other bigger black brick to watch old movies?
