Wouldn't pay for it, since, as everyone stated:
-ABP is free.
Also, some sites can work incorrectly when blocking ads (rarely, happened to me maybe thrice in the last 5 years), or I sometime support a site so bad that I allow it to display ads, and ABP is way more flexible to do so.
And, as a rule, I tend not to buy things when I can get something better for free.
