Yes, the ram should be compatible.

It is ddr3 ram, and the mobo is Rated for speeds Of ram up to 2400 MHZ

Although they have (O.C) in parenthesis, you should be fine, the mobo probably wont post anything above2400 mhz, that's what I believe it means in the product description.

I think those prices are ridiculous when this ram can most often do the same thing

The insanely miniscule difference in performance is not worth almost double the price.

If you try, The samsung memory will do about the same speeds with little effort.

In the end though it is up to you.
