Take a look at the Gigabyte 970a-ud3. Great board, 8+2 phase, and about $110. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128519&Tpk=970a-ud3

The GIGABYTE GA-970A-UD3 is even cheaper than Asrock 990FX Extreme 3, i guess the extreme 3 is better right?

Not necessarily.
The ga-970a-ud3 has an 8+2 phase and good VRMs. I have one, it's just great. It's probably cheaper because it doesn't use the 990fx chipset.

I checked whats difference between 990FX and 970 and seems that its only less PCI slots, and since i'll never run a crossfire setup, i don't really mind, but still not sure if i should go extreme 3 990FX or ga-970a-ud3 ?

(Sorry to keep asking, but i need to buy something i won't regret lol)

thanks again guys

id get the asrock board. it does have less powerphases but again they're beefy enough. even your craptastic msi board (no offense) was able to somewhat support your overclock so expect just better things from the asrock board. it has better features and looks a lot better too (if that matters to you)

+1 on the asrock board

Actually the 990fx Extreme3 is 4+1 phase with something called digi-power-design. From what I have seen the difference in 990 and 970 is just the amount of lanes you get on the pci-e connections. So if you are running 1 card = 970, if you are going for 2 or 3 high end video cards better go 990.
