Hi I have an ENVY 17 3200 with Ivy Bridge i7
It has the Seagate 750GB HD SSD Cache thing.
I have an expansion bay to add an additional drive; Im unsure if I should jump to SSD or more additional storage.
Id probably try to go with the Samsung 1TB HD or an 512GB SSD.
---
The only things I really do are videogames (steam) and video editing;
If I jump to an SSD would it reduce downtime for accessing the media pool in video editing programs? and will viewing/refreshing the timeline be faster as well?
example I have a 20min video I set the program to autosplice it(evry3-5 seconds); and it takes a bit of time on a regular HD.
---
Will it be difficult or easy for me to transfer my content on my current 750HD to an SSD; (Windows will still be activated if I clone to SSD?)
---
What upgrade path would you recommend for me? thanks
