Help me choose a PSU

Thread Starter
Hey guys, I think its about time to get a new PSU. I have $80 to spend including taxes, so could someone suggest some options?
I need to power: FX-8120, HD 6870 and all the basics (in the sig).

Most importantly I need it to have the EPS connection and 2 6 pins for the 6870.

Thanks biggrin.gif

Thanks, there is a store right by me actually. I think I might need more than 550 though, thats what I have now. I just tried hooking up an extra 3 fans, and it looked like the leds on those fans were blinking, voltages read 11.56 vs the 11.98 without em. Maybe I should shoot for 650?

Anyone else?

Rosewill Capstone 450 will do you just fine, I just bought one at Newegg.ca for 83 bucks tax and shipping included. Gold rated and very highly recommended, semi-modular and has cables you need. Build has 6870- 3770K-4 x 92 mm fans- 3 x 120mm fans- D5 Pump- Opt drive and fan controller. ps the 550 version might be on sale as well. thumb.gif
