Monitor no Input, new rig.

So I recently put together a new rig, and to cut the story short, when I turn it on the monitor gets no input.

I have a Crosshair V formula-z MOBO, and the error code is FF, Reserved for Future AMI Errors, which means no errors I have guessed.

I have also switched slots for my GPU and SATA cable to my hard drive, to no avail.

The monitor works with this comp though. Any suggestions?

The error code FF, is, i believe, something to do with the CPU. Do you have CPU 8-pin power installed fully? Were there any problems installing the CPU and CPU hs?

FF = Reserved for Future AMI Error Codes, in this manual.

8 - pin power installed fully, yes.

Any problems installing? If I recall correctly, it was easy. I lifted the hatch bar, matched gold corner to corner, places it down,and closed it, then installed my Hyper Evo 212 for the hs. It went really smoothly, or is it usually not supposed to be?

It probably will, don't connect all the fans, connect only your BOOT drive, GPU, mobo, etc. Only connect the essentials.

Before I do that, is the 4 pin power needed? Because the PSU doesn't have anymore cords to go with it

I don't think it is needed, however just connect it and see if it makes a difference, it will just supply the board with more power if it requires it.
