1080P Live Streaming Advice?

Thread Starter
Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone could give me some assistance with setting up a Twitch TV 1080P gaming stream. I "think" my computer and internet are equipped enough to handle this type of stream but if not let me know. I have the fastest internet that Rogers has available in my area currently. They are rolling out a 175/10 plan but it is being done area by area the fastest I can get currently is 45/4.

Here are the internet stats my system is in my thread. The system is overclocked. I would be using Xsplit to do the streaming.

There are 3 tables on this page that should help you figure out which quality to use. It's a pretty helpful guide to figuring out how to use Xsplit to its full potential. According to the page, your computer+connection should be able to handle 1080p streaming at 30fps(or greater -45?-) with no issues with the bitrate set to 3000.

I hope this helps, lemme know if you need clarification on anything! thumb.gif
