Overclocking 3700+ Athlon with stock cooling

What would be a good vcore for this cpu on stock cooling?

Any other tips will be greatly appreciated seeing as I am sort of a n00b at overclocking.

Personally I have mine with stock vcore and stock cooling and I have it now at 2.51 (228x11) with load temps at 50C and 43C idle. My mobo limits my overclock so I can't go higher and see, but that could be a starting point for you, if not the limit.

Ok so I put the vcore at 1.52V it is averaging at 43C, and at 2.256 ghz? Why is that so low? I thought that when the v-core when up the ghz went up?
I have an app that tells me the temp and the vcore. But how am I suppose to find my ghz?
What types of benchmarkers should I get?
If you guys have one for each specific part that would be great. And I dont want to you 3dmark

No, it makes a higher overclock more stable or even possible.

Raise your HTT, it should start at 200 and go up. Raise it to 205 and reboot then keep raising by 5 until you cant go any higher. AND Then you raise voltage.
