Is MSI GTX 560 ti Twin Frozr SLI any good?

Thread Starter
I currently have one GTX 560 ti, but I was thinking to get another one to make it a sli.
Is it powerful and cool enough for it though?

I am planning to have multiple monitors such as 3 monitor total, and I am planning to do multitasking and gaming on it too.
I think my CPU is quite fine and doesn't hold my GPU back.

I personally would always go for a one card solution versus having to deal with SLI or X-Fire (micro stuttering and the heat to name a few). Multi monitors are supported for both Nvidia in their GTX 670/680 as well as the AMD HD 7950/7970 variants (even the lower model ones can do it but I just mentioned the two best choices). Why not sell your 560ti and get a 670 or 7950 at the least?

Think about it, even with your 560ti in SLI it only really has 1GB of ram versus running a 670 which would have 2GB (unless you opt for the 4GB ver.) or a 7950 which has 3GB of memory. HERE is a link showing the same cards you're asking about.

Lastly, can you please update your profile so we can see your PC specs? What CPU are you running? Is it OCd?

OP as said above i recommend a single GPU. sell your GTX 560 Ti for 100 bucks. Get a HD 7950 and overclock it to 1.15 - 1.2 Ghz. its a performance beast. best value for your money . If you want Nvidia card get GTX 670. thumb.gif
