SSD Slow Boot Up: Can't Pin Reason - Page 4

One thing I noticed on another build I did, very similar to mine, that it booted almost 4 times as fast when using the onbaord gpu then when using the dedicated gpu. Have you tried this? I think it has something to do with the 680 I was using. Just an observation I made.

Not sure what did it (maybe one of the many Windows updates that have installed onto my computer over the past 2 days), but my boot up is now significantly faster. It went from 1 and a half minutes after POST to about 30 seconds. It's still not the fastest thing ever, but with a video card, a sound card, and two drives it's understandable. Thanks again for the help. SOMEWHERE in the midst of all these fixes, the boot up stall was fixed.
