Nice, I cant wait to get a Wii, looks to be one hell of a system. I think Nintendo really has a shot this year of taking Number 1, but only time will tell!

Hah! Good one...

Anyways, congratulations on getting your console of choice on launch day I sure felt happy when I got my PSP on launch day here in the US (the only console I've ever got at launch, I got both Xboxes over a year after release, my PS2 3 days after launch (for free from my cousin though), my PS1 years after its launch and my N64 also years after its launch, played for about 3 hours and relegated it to the closet for the next several years lol, it was the green special edition Donkey Kong 64 version or some BS.

Nintendo just schooled Sony this go around... I forecast the best season for Nintendo since the SNES.

I agree with you, RonindeBeatrice. Nintendo really did it right this time around.

My roommate sat in line inside a Wal-Mart for roughly nine hours yesterday to get one. I went and kept him company for the last two hours of it. We played around with it all of last night and today. I have yet only been able to play the WiiSports game, but it is so much fun. I played it so much, that my arms were actually tired when I woke up today (thanks to the boxing game ).

I am personally waiting to play Metroid Prime 3, but I would love to give Zelda a go. It's good to hear you are having fun, HeartOfAHydra!

Yeah, as funny as it sounds i didnt care for zelda until windwaker

But i have now put 7 hours into Zelda and i personally give the game a 9.5/10. This time they did it right, and its def. unique compared to any other zelda out there. I dont get any new games or a new TV until friday but im sure it will last me. And TheLaughingMan, i cant wait to play MP3 either! (or smash bros. brawl, or mario galaxy, or red steel) lol but i never played MP:Echos, i LOVED metroid prime 1 though.

One more note to hit, i was getting my rank up in boxing and my arms got tired too! But they say no pain no game so i figured wth and kept goin

Ok, then here goes my remote (or WiiMote) speech on how i feel about it so far.

With Wii Sports it surprises me with its spot on control, the boxing really is spot on as well as the golf. In Zelda u hit with the WiiMote, and use the nunchuck to block ( or shake it for your spin attack ). Link matches your hits pretty good, and u can do huge combos if you continuously hit. The combat is really fun, and the WiiMote & nunchuck mixture is very creative in the game and really brings you in, in such a way that a regular controller just simply couldnt.

The true shine of the WiiMote in Zelda so far to me is the slingshot, and im sure the bow will be too. U can even shoot while riding your horse, and u really feel like your shooting rocks from a slingshot. The sounds that come from your WiiMote are awesome i just love them. The comfort is good after u get used to using the two controllers in each hand, it makes it alot easier to drink or eat food while playing. the rumble in the controller is very nice. All in all i would rather play this way from here on out than any other way, playing as a wolf could never be more fun. I am glad to have spent 28 long hours in the cold for this one. And there it is for you OpTioN. But honestly theres no way to truely explain how it feels to play with a WiiMote, you just gotta try it for yourself!
