But in the bios under cpu config it shows VT-X supporterd under northbridge however it says VT-D is unsupported. No idea what is going on here lol Also intel virtualization technology is enabled in bios.
Oh well it sounds like this software is worthless anyway from browsing the internet / searching here on OCN for threads about it.
I know extreme4 supports it (I have the same mobo). There's an option in the bios that you need click on to enable its support. (Maybe you have to update the bios as well. )
I wouldn't say it's completely worthless - you do get a massive boost in benchmark scores and IMO, it does seem a little bit smoother (but it may just be placebo). However, for me the extra VRAM usage kills it, since I often have more than one game window up at a time.
If you do movie encoding and things like that, it's definitely worth to install for Intel's quick sync. I'd say either way, it's worth at least trying and seeing if you like it.
