4.2Ghz temps/voltage advice

Thread Starter
hi all, im pretty sure my temps are fairly normal for

4.2Ghz (200x21) Ht on
CPU 1.32v
PLL 1.88v
QPI 1.35v

DRAM 1.5

temps are after 8hrs Prime Blend
idle 40C
Load 83C

just wondering if anyone has any tips for reducing temps that are short of a new cooling setup.
i dont think i can reduce CPU v or QPI without losing stability but am not sure about what effect PLL has on temps.

any help/advice would be much appreciated. also thinking about posting this with some pics in the air cooling forums and asking some questions about airflow.

83'C is fine from a prime95 run on an I7 920 chip, especially since you're running a decent voltage too. Everyday tasks will be a lower load temperature.

There is no need for a fix here imo.
