Having no dedis is appalling for competitive gaming though. If you need to play vs other teams you have no other option than to find a host who has the best connection which could be easily solved by having real dedis. Also, yeah, there were mod tools, but as you say, released ALOT later into the game's life cycle - pretty much null by the time they did get released, but none the less, still got released.

The only one I owned is 2. Played MW1 and didn't care for it. Played Zombies and it wasn't my cup, so no go for me.

That is true. I am just bored and looking for something to play. They are probably doing this because of all those rank up in 2 kill servers.

Yeah but who cares about that? Like honestly, if a dev team is going to limit your options just because of the possibility of people ranking up faster than others then there is something seriously wrong.

I've pre-ordered it.

The thing many people don't get is that the fact that the reason people keep buying them is precisely because the games are so similar.

If I'm playing the games and I like them, then why should that game series have to end? If they keep bringing out games then I can keep playing games with that same feel. I know this sounds stupid and monotonous, but I enjoy the CoD games for what they are, a frantic fast-paced FPS.

I've tried other FPS games like CS:GO and Blacklight: Retribution, but they usually have one of two issues, either they feel clunky and heavy relatively speaking like Blacklight and BF, or the people that play the games have been playing them for years so the skill ceiling is so high that I don't stand a chance of being any good at it e.g. CS: GO.

I like CoD because it's an accessible game that I can play for as little or as long as I want and can actually do well in.

Some people really enjoy ranking up that's why they added that prestige system. This is probably the only thing they can think of to stop this kind of stuff.

I did for the single player campaign and zombies. I LOVE zombies. thumb.gif Newegg had a special going on two weeks so I didn't pay the full $60 for the game.

So, what's the difference between that, and then someone playing 24/7 until they reach max level? I really think it's just an excuse to remove dedis and make us play how they want us to play, not how we want to play which is wrong IMO.
