Probably the biggest issue with the game right there. People who never played it, reading it was bad, and perpetuating that it was bad.

Not a personal attack towards you, having played it, I have never had an idea where the idea that it was a bad game came from. It had a rocky launch, and would not play for squat on most peoples computer. Then again, neither does metro 2033, but you don't see people adamantly telling others it is a glitchy game on max settings, while trying to run it on a hd3850.

True very true. However my main gripe when I was looking to play was the server lag. I see today its still an issue. However, I suppose your right should have gave it a shot my self at least.

It a had a reputation as garbage that was well deserved. I am sorry, but in this case it was truly was the case. There was so many broken things, that they had to keep it free forever just to keep people playing. I own a CE and it was as bad as everyone said. That being said the trailer was awesome, though Square's ability to make a good CGI trailer has never really been in doubt. I will definately give it a shot and hope they've made everything better, especially the combat/targetting system. I know they've said they've redone everything but the proof is in the pudding as they say.
