The Internet Explorer "App": The best thing to happen to Xbox Live to date

Obviously that's just an opinion!
But it's my opinion and I truly believe this is one of the most worthwhile additions to the Xbox 360 and Xbox Live.
I downloaded it about a week ago and have been using it often.
A full web browser has been needed since the inception of Xbox Live.
I used to have an entire computer hooked up to the same TV as my Xbox just to be able to browse the web. Now I can do everything straight through the Xbox.

Is anyone else finding this addition to be as useful as I am?

Well there are very few people with a browser built into their TV.
I also used to have a computer connected alongside my Xbox just to browse the web. Now I don't.

It's an incredibly useful addition.

I can't imagine this being useful at all. I only use my xbox to play games. If I want to look something up within the game I find it really inconvenient to turn off the game to go to dashboard just to turn on the browser and search. It would be much easier to use either my laptop/desktop or ipad/phone. I used to play on PS3 all the time and I think I used the browser on that once because it wasn't worth the time.

If you don't have a computer I'm sure it is amazing but I wouldn't unhook my computer just because the xbox got an internet browser.

Spot on. Useless IMO. Especially considering my gaming rig is hooked up to my TV now. not the best quality (low res), but infinitely better than having to mess around with horrible 360 interface and apps.

Though I 110% see where you're coming from OP. Even a crappy browser app is better than no browser app. Before I had my gaming rig hooked up I would've fawned over this, even with its crippled functionality. But for me today? Its about 5 years too late.
