I find it ironic that you blast people who don't like Metro, then pretty much ignore the actual topic at hand (Gaming in Windows 8 vs Windows 7), which IS frame rates, then pretty much end you comment with "I like better now". Fact of the matter is, if you want to remove the personal preference from either side, the fact remains that "by the numbers", Windows 8 isn't really all that much better (and sometimes worse) than Windows 7 for gaming.
