The Gigabyte Z77X-UD3H would be a better choice.

Well what sucks is that I wasn't paying attention to my budget. I was going a bit over $1200 which I really don't want to do. I don't have a choice but to change the ati7950 to a gtx660ti so I can hit my exact $1200 limit.

Don't get the Pro version of that board, just get the P8Z77-V or even the P8Z77-V LK. The Pro doesn't have any real advantages over the others. Use the savings from that switch to bump back up to the 7950.

Good spec, you may get a MSI or Gigabyte for better money/spec although ASUS is solid!
cooler is a must and the 500R is a better case IMO
the MSI can autoclock with the spec which will make your life easy if your not too sure on overclocking smile.gif
