So what exactly do I need to do to make Dark Souls not look like crap?

I bought the game this weekend, seems like a decent game except it looks like pure dung on my machine. Trying to run 1920 * 1200 with my sig rig and while I understand this is a console port it looks pretty bad. I know there are some mods to be had, looked in the Dark Souls thread but I can't find the link, I know it's in there but was hoping someone who already had it bookmarked could share.

Any other suggestions?

You can find mods here. Use the DSfix. You can change a bunch of things, like the resolution and AA.

yep, dsfix will do the job. The main issue with the stock game is that even if you change your display resolution, the internal framebuffer is stuck at 720p. DSfix gets rid of that limitation and you run at it 1080/1440/1600+. Nowadays, DSfix does AA like unreal said and also can unlock the 30 fps limit of Dark Souls.

My only other major mod rec is the high res UI/Subtitle Fonts - http://darksouls.nexusmods.com/mods/21
