I'm looking to upgrade my SSD for Christmas but I need a bit of help on which one to get. I don't care about price, just performance and reliability. I've done a bit of research and I've come up with these:

Corsair Neutron GTX 240GB
Intel 520 240GB
256GB Samsung 840 Pro 256GB
256GB Samsung 830 256GB

Which one would you suggest I get?

Well, I prefer Samsung because it does the most to support their smartphone business and further put pressure on Apple. Samsung is also a solid company with many good products, so hey.

If price is no issue then why not buy an Enterprise SSD? I mean the level of performance you get for dishing out $20,000 compared to $200 is well worth it.

This. Vertex 4 is a rather decent drive. Personally I think you should go with the 840 pro or the 520 if you wont consider the cheaper V4.
The reliability issues are a load of junk extending from old sandforce issues. They've been hammered out and have less issues than a lot of other SSD's. My V3 has been clugging fine for over a year, even with the original sandforce issues it wasn't bad to me at all.

I would go corsair just because they are a great brand making reliable ssds. The reliablity of Intel ssds also isn't very high so I wouldn't go intel.
