Go Samsung 840 PRO 256. If you have price in mind, the 830 should serve you as well as the 840 though. There's not a whole lot of difference between the two performance wise smile.gif

Sounds legit. The thing is though, the 830 is not far behind. With the difference in price between the two, the 840 is a lot more expensive compared to the 830. So I'd say a 830 would be more.. sensible biggrin.gif

840 pro is overall the highest performing consumer SSD right now especially in read speeds which is what really matters for most users.

Only the upcoming OCZ Vector can probably challenge its overall performance, its suppose to come out Q4 of this year.
