Windows 8, small square artifacts whilst using apps - 7970

I'm seeing clusters of small squares that flicker in an instance, each time i switch between preview images on the store, or using the forward/back buttons in some apps to go from back to forth. They mostly appear in 'checkerboard' form.

They're usually at the top left/right of the app/preview image. They appear and disappear in a flash. Are at random places each time. I've seen this with two Ati 7970 cards.

Drivers 12.11 beta 6 - stock clocks. Heaven passes fine.

Can you guys check and see if you see them too? Open the store and then click the arrow on the preview image to flick to the next, do it a few times, back and forth. It's really bugging me as i've 5 days left to send my card back if its buggered.

Thanks.
