Going to microcenter tomorrow to ge my 3570k and a asrock extreme4 motherboard. IT seems there have been a lot of problems with said board. Can anyone confirm this or recommend a good crossfire board that micro center carries. I am also concerned that my crucial balistics 1866 2x4 gig ram wont work with board it lists no crucial memory as supported. ANy help will be +rep-ed

most memory will work..the list they provide is the ram that they tested with the board..i just picked up a z77 msi mpower board for 150 at microcenter with the i7. cause you get the extra 40 off..i owned the asus z77 sabettooth and the asrock extreme 6..and i can say it blows both them boards out of the water..and for a great price..it also have bluetooth and wifi..can not beat it for the price. i own crucial ballistix tactical ram and it worked with all 3 of the boards i have owned..so there will be no problem

While that board does look fantastic it is to much money iam already getting 50 off with the cpu purchase. Non discounted cost must be no more than 140-150 tops.

its 40 off now.i was just there last week..also check out the msi gd65..i think that will be around 120 after the discount..a awsome board also.offers just about the same features.and overclocks well

but in all reality.micro center allways offers great deals..and i would wait till black friday to see there deals..dont buy a lower end board now when your can get a higher end at the same price on blackfriday. or wait another week and save up a few more dollars..it will be worth it in the end. even tho i know how excited i get when i have money to upgrade..i want it now!!!! but i wasted alot of money buying lower end to just come back and buy the higher end anyway..but its what you wana do.either way the i5 is a good cpu and there are lots of z77 boards that will work just fine..but if your into overclocking..save up and buy a better board then the extreme 4.

I am running the Z77 Extreme4 with my 3570K, and I have no issues whatsoever. My Geil 1866 memory isn't on the supported list and it runs at the stock clocks no problem (I have not tried to OC the ram). The OCing features of this board are pretty fleshed out, and I haven't had any problems with my 3570K at 4.6Ghz on air. There is a rumor that ASrock boards report the wrong core voltage, but who knows. As long as its a descent distance from the max voltage and your temps are under control you should be alright.

So yes, I'd recommend the board for sure

I also have said motherboard and have had no problems at all, overclock ram and cpu easily.

I bought two of these because for $7, why not. First of all, these definitely move more air than the fans that came with my Cooler Master case. Furthermore, they move more air than my Cooler Master...

This was the only fan that would fit in the space I had in my case between a radiator and a waterblock/pump housing. Given that I had no alternatives, i was truly please with the sound (or absence...

I replaced a loud fan in my Cooler Master Elite 430 with this. The other fan moved about the same amount of air with a far louder, higher RPM (I assume) device. This fan has a cool-looking metal...

Mouse has tracking troubles on multi-coloured pads, If you has small-medium hands it is palm or claw grip mouse. For large handed people only claw, go and buy ec1 if you want to palm.

This is not the first time that I bought these fans, however in an effeort to try and shave some degrees off my load temps, I thought I would give them another go as I was impressed with their...
