Of course they're going to use HL3 as a the poster child for their new engine, and of course it is going to coincide around the release of the new consoles and various competitors(Unreal, Crytek,etc).

While you do have a point, there is always the concern that netcode could get arguably worse as evidenced by other popular game engines. wink.gif
