I have about 15mm of space to decouple my Swiftech mcp35x2. I am debating between two options:
1) Stack 2 of the included neoprene pads.
2) Use Petra's gel stuff and attach it with either Velcro or double sided tape.
For both of the options, I plan to put the decoupler on the outside edges (covering half of the bottom). The middle half will be left bare to provide airflow for cooling.
Which option do you think would work better, or is there a better option I haven't though of? For the gel, my intuition is that Velcro will provide added decoupling as well as facilitate easy removal of the pump; is this true?
