SLI: GTX 560 Ti-448

Hey guys, I know it's probably not possible but I was wondering if it would be technically possible to SLI a Zotac GTX 560 Ti - 448 with a Zotac GTX 570?

I just wanted to know if it is theoretically possible since the 560 Ti - 448 is actually a 570 PCB, and I wasn't sure how much modification nVidia actual did and if they are completely incompatible.

no they will not work..even the gtx 670 uses the 680 pcb on some cards..its all about the chip and memory..if you own both use the 560ti for a physx card

I have heard of this with older Nvidia cards yes, but if i remember right it also involved flashing the bios on one of the cards so it matched the other and they where both recognized as both the same then they could be run in SLi.

I remember this being the case with flashing the 9800GTX to a GTS250, theres also a slight reference to that HERE on OCN as well.

Looking at the PCB on both those cards you posted above, i think its more than safe to say they are not the same at all, but your definitely right to be asking

it only works with older cards like 8800gts old cards..i just tried with a gtx 680 and 670..just got a black screen so i had to hard reset. but it was with a gtx lightning 680 and a zotac 670 4gb.

What about in the OP? theres GTX560ti and GTX460 in SLi, then theres a GTX580 and GTX570 in SLi...or are they too old?

i know for a fact old cards work. the 8800gts with the 9800..i dunno about a 560 and 570.but i just tried a 680 and 670 and a black screen.so they dont work..it may depend on certain cards..im sorry i should rephrase my last post.i wil call my friend and ask him to put a sli bridge on his gtx 560 and a gtx 275 and try and see what he has to say.
