Impossible Laptop?

I want some feedback or some recs from you guys smile.gif

What is your maximum budget?
Hard cap of about $1000

What country are you in?
US

What will be the uses of this laptop?
It's going to be hooked up to the gym room for gym videos/ddr/etc. When I'm on the road/vacation/travel I will be using it for Super Street Fighter 4 and some light gaming and web browsing/video watching.

Do you have brand loyalty or care which brands we select for you?
Nope.

What screen size do you require?
Under 15.6in. 13 or 14 ideal. 11in is ok too

What screen resolution do you require?
720p would be nice, but lower won't be deal breaker.

Are you looking to buy NEW or would refurbished/recertified/used be okay?
New/Refurb ok.

How long should the battery last?
Plugged in all the time while not traveling, on the road i'm fine with 4-5 hours plus non gaming.

What games would you like to play with your laptop? And on what settings?
Stepmania/ Super Street fighter 4, Starcraft 2. Smooth 40fps+

What operating system do you need? (if any)
None

Is there a certain style of laptop you want? (aluminum, black, gaming, etc.)
not too heavy, under 5lb preferred.

How much hard drive space do you need?
Don't need, have a SSD ready to put in

Do you need any special hardware? (blue ray, webcam, specialty ports, etc.)
No.

Is there anything else we need to know?
I have a SSD ready to put in, I'm also open to buying one with mechanical drive and swap out the old one with my SSD.
I hope there are no heat problems with this laptop and the only one I have found by myself under budget is the Eurocom W110ER Monster and Asus u36

Asus:

I'd go with the W110ER. I've heard really good things about them. Plus from a quick glance it looks like it would crush the ASUS.

Buying maybe, but building it would be easy. I haven't done mine yet ( still looking for a job and, may have just found one!) but, I could show you others.
