Mouse similar to WMO

Thread Starter
So I REALLY like the shape and weight of my wheel mouse optical, but I wouldn't mind having a mouse with a better sensor (higher max tracking speed) and maybe some more buttons.

Does anyone know if there's a gaming mouse out there with a shape that's pretty much the same? I already have the zowie AM, so that's ruled out.

You should try the Steelseries Kana.

Do you play low sensitivity games, like FPS?
Also, do you mind if it's a similar shape but slightly bigger?

I would look at the Zowie AM, bigger mouse but similar shape. The sensor has double the perfect control speed of the WMO (1.5m/s when OC'd to 500hz vs 3m/s+ on the Zowie)

I was thinking about this one. Does the sensor have any issues/flaws?

Kana used to have an pixel jumping issue, but it has been fixed.

Its just a case of updating it, setting the up the DPI, settings saving to mouse and then removing the drivers if you don't want them

and then enjoy using the mouse, o and you might want to pick up some nicer mouse feet, but that just my opinion.

<- Kana user.

Personal settings for me, 400/800 dpi on the toggle but thats just me cause im low sense for gaming and I want some speed for web browsing

Roccat Lua, Steelseries Kana and Razer Abyssus are your best and only choices

Roccat Lua
- better switches than the Kana (hated the ttc switches of the kana)
- perfect control speed is okay imho, couldn't make it skip, yet ( playing with a 24cm/360° and a very flicky aiming style)
- shape resembles the wmo, but it's a little bit smaller

Kana
- the sidebuttons are horrible
- the Mouse1 and Mouse2 switches feel terrible
- shape is good

Abyssus
- only 450/1800/3500 dpi steps (native, but razer driver interpolation for e.g. 900dpi works well)
- shape takes some time to get used to it
- its a lottery if your model jitters or not wink.gif
