I'm currently looking to purchase a (or multiple) hard drives for the main purpose of storing my vast library of Steam games (and other non-Steam games). I probably have about 400GB worth of games and I am currently looking at the WD VelociRaptor 600GB that Newegg has for $100 ATM. One main reason I'm looking at this drive is because of its lower access time when compared to other top of the line mechanical hard drives and for $100 it seems like a pretty solid deal. However, I am still not 100% convinced to purchase yet and I would like insight from this vast and knowledgable community of OCN. What do you guys all think is the best "steam games" drive (for me)? I am willing to spend upwards of $100.
