I need opinions on this loop's temps. And what sort of improvements can be done to improve temps?

As stated, it's my main rig: stucked elevator, which its loop consists of the following.

Current state of affair.

Res > Pump > 200mm Rad > GPU > GPU > 120mm Rad > CPU > 240mm Rad > Repeat

Rads:
1 x EX240 w/ 2 x 120mm 1650rpm fans in Push
1 x EX120 w/ 2 x 120mm 1650rpm fans in Push-Pull
1 x Xtreme 200 w/ 1 x 200mm 600rpm fan in Pull

PS. I have high restrictive filters (DEMCi) on ALL the fans (intake).

DEMCi 200mm Round Filter

Blocks:
1 x RayStorm Intel CPU
2 x Razor 680 GPUs (Parallel Flow)

Pump:
1 x MCP35X (PWM enabled: 35% at 30C, 70% at 60C)

Tubing:
7/16" x 5/8"

The temps I'm getting from a couple of hours gaming.

Crysis at 2560x1440: (it seems to give me higher temps than BF3, so it's used here)
Very High settings w/ 16x AA and Nvidia driver settings set to Quality

CPU (Stock 3770K):
Idle = 28 - 29C
Max = 57C (avg. 54)
Delta = 28

GPUs (Stock GTX670 FTWs):
Idle = 24 - 25C
Max = 47C (avg. 45)
Delta = 22

Coolant:
Idle = 24 - 25C
Max = 35C (avg. 33)
Delta = 10

Questions:

1) Do these temps seem o.k. for the setup?
1.1) If not, what can be done to improve the temps?

2) Is it safe to have water temp sitting in mid 30s for long term use?

Thank you for all the input. smile.gif

Giving prime95 temps would help more than in game temps. (although in game temps matter, it still wont give you max temperatures)

Also, what are your overclocks? Because that helps a ton also.

It's actually lower (CPU: 4.4GHz @1.184V) and I didn't think that gaming would give higher temps. But considering the fact that all components are running at high/max, I wasn't surprised.

I wasn't planning on testing the loop with games, but I monitor temps on regular basis and found out that temps after Crysis were a little bit on the high side. And, I thought that it'd represent a real world scenario. Besides, Prime95 doesn't utilize GPU AFAIK. thinking.gif

EDIT: Hold on, guys. I think I'll have to run Prime95 again since that was done with different CPU speed and voltage. I'm running everything stock at the moment. First post editted. smile.gif

Temps seem absolutely fine. You could put a faster fan on the 200mm rad - a 1000rpm+ fan would probably make a noticeable difference to temps but only at the expense of some noise, but it depends how you control that fan - I had 600rpm fans on my rad and changed to 1300rpm (which actually max out around 1100), and the difference in temperatures between them is very marked, 600rpm just isn't enough airflow.

Water in the 30s ought to be no problem. To minimise fan noise, I let my water get pretty hot - I commonly run with it in the 40s and can't see any reason not to, other than higher component temps - however I still keep the CPU in the 60s and GPUs in the 50s under load doing that.

Funny that you mentioned it when I just took out a 1300rpm fan (NZXT FN-200RB) and replaced it with this 600rpm fan (NZXT FS-200RB) due to the clicking noise (product related). But, I might have to pop it back and record the temps. Off-topic, I highly recommend people to consider other 200mm fan instead of this FN-200RB. This is my replacement fan and I still experience the same problem, even though it's mounted vertically now instead of horizontally. Thank you for reassuring that. REP+ for your time. thumb.gif

thats absolutely fine... if you were determined to bring those down though, the easiest way would be to increase you flow rate (though i see no need for this unles your GPUs are in paralel and you are at like 1.0 GPM or so)... also, you shouldt offer rep in the op wink.gif

as for the fans, a higher pressure 200mm fan would help, but again, i dont see a need... hope i helped smile.gif

What's wrong with a little incentive? tongue.gif I'm kidding. Edited.

Oh, crap! I completely forgot that I have high restrictive filters (DEMCi) on ALL the fans (intake). Should have mentioned it. frown.gif

Lol... $5 says if U take them off ur temps drop atleast 2c tongue.gif... On low speed low pressure fans, it can make a massive difference smile.gif
