Looking for aftermarket cooler

Thread Starter
Hey guys im looking into getting an aftermarket cooler for my 5850 becuase the fan is making this unbearable grinding noise and apparantly on the xfx cards theres no way to open the fan to oil it? Strange i know, plus one of the fan fins is somehow cracked? Im not looking to put a huge overclock or anything just something to keep my card cool and not sound like a jet engine. I have looked around and it seems like this Zalman one is recommended a lot(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835118061). Any thoughts on that cooler or suggestions for a different one. Would be nice to stay around the 50 dollar range if possible.

Thanks for the help.

Hi, and take a good look here, it might not be what you are looking for but it's one of the best and cheapest option out there. With that price range you could grab a 620.

I concur, and you could use it for future GPUs.

pretty much all of the closed looped water coolers avail will work since they are from the same OEM (Asetek, and CoolIT) and DWood has the brackets -> http://triptcc.com/
