windows 8 drivers for my motherboard...

Hey guys so I have the GA-X58A-UD3R motherboard and recently installed windows 8. There are no drivers on their site for windows 8. Do I just use windows 7 64bit?

Just use your windows 7 64bit drivers and run them in compatibility mode (right click on the installer then go to properties and then to the compatibilities tab and tick the box that says "Run this program in compatibility mode for" and choose Windows 7 from that drop down box. You shouldn't come across any issues smile.gif

ok so when getting the drivers from the website is there no download that includes them all? do I have to download each of these files?

Just get the drivers directly from the component manufacturer.... Intel, Realtek, etc.

well that link is from the manufacture right? it just has all the different drivers split up do i need them all

That is just the motherboard manufacturer. They buy parts from other companies like Intel, Realtek, Broadcom and connect them all together.

The component companies are the ones who develop and maintain the drivers for all their customers. Gigabyte then just updates their websites with new versions provided to them.... but this does not often happen in a timely matter. If you want the latest drivers, go the company that actually wrote the drivers.
