i must have a good atrix 4g lol mine will last a few days without a charge and only takes a hr to charge it back up from a dead bat. I rooted but no custom rom and i dont use any power saving stuff screen brightness is on auto and wifi stays on all the time.

That is kind of where I am too. I can easily go more than a day on my phone. The exception would be if I am surfing the web constantly for hours during the day. Then most I can go is 1 day.

I am currently running CM9 though. I do need to update it to the newer version, as I haven't done that in a while.
Before I rooted and rom'd it, I was still getting over a day on battery life. This was with wifi on, auto brightness on screen, no blue tooth.

One thing you may want to look at is your signal, if it keeps having to search for signal you may be draining the battery that way.

okay so here is the problem with this crappy battery and phone:

I have it on with nothing on, except just the phone for 3 hours and the battery goes down about 50%, and I took the battery out without turning it off, and it started with 78%, I let it go down to 72% in 4 minutes, did a restart and it started with 78% again.

WHAT DO I DO??

I have been saying that the battery is brand new. BRAND NEW! I bought two, and both are weird. I am installing CWM now, let me calibrate through that, and see if this smartphone will work.
