All I did was ask a question - you're the one who popped up with the attitude.

And I didn't like that you thought you had to tell me AI Suite was software, or that he was using it, or that he had used it to set 100.5 but RealTemp showed 103. I can read.

So let's just call it even and move on.

Try to understand that I've been on OCN so long that I've reached a point where it wouldn't surprise me one bit to meet someone on here who does not know what Ai Suite II is at all.

Nice.  At this point, I recommend uninstalling Ai Suite II and doing all of your overclocking directly in the UEFI BIOS.  I'm not sure if ASUS has changed anything, but Ai Suite II doesn't make any changes in my UEFI BIOS.  Instead, it applies the settings once Windows loads Ai Suite II during startup.  I mean, if I make any change at all in Ai Suite II and then go look for that change in my UEFI BIOS, it's not there.  So for me, overclocking with Ai Suite II is no different than overclocking a video card with software because the settings are only applied once Windows loads the overclocking software during startup.

For this reason, I recommend avoiding Ai Suite entirely.  I'd rather have my settings applied at the hardware layer instead of the software layer.

No need to uninstall it completely though. I personally never used the overclocking software, but I like the monitoring and fan control AI suite provides.
