Installing drivers blew up my computer...

Thread Starter
...well not really

Was installing new drivers for my gtx680, and in the middle of the install my screen went black and stayed black (power saving mode, blue light flashing looking for signal.)

Things i have tried:
Restarting
Removing video card
Using on board gpu
resetting the bios manualy
.
try a different monitor.

The problem is the screen is blank. i cant even see the boot screen when i turn on my computer. i have no idea on how to fix this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What output port are you using? Have you tried one of the others? If I read your post correctly you're not even seeing the BIOS post, right? Does your monitor auto-detect inputs or do you have to select the input source? Were you using the same input source previously(Like DVI, or VGA or HDMI?)

i tried all the video outputs, both dvi on the video card along with the dvi on the mobo and the vga on the mobo. I am really lost to as to what happened. Never heard or seen anything like this before.

Remove the video card and connect the display to the VGA on the mobo and reset the CMOS. If all else fails, disconnect everything from the board except the monitor and CPU\Cooler of course and reset CMOS again.

If the BIOS or the board hasn't failed or become corrupted then you will see the BIOS

It could be the PSU also.
