repairing gtx 260 amp2 fan

i have an old zotac gtx 260 amp2 graphics card.

i broke its fan pins accidentaly, and solder it back almost randomly.

what should i do? fan is not working now...

i found a gtx 460 fan for only 10$ , should i buy it? or does any one have the pin scheme of this card maybe?

can you give me a link to the replacement fan you found?

EDIT: also, if you could, please take a photo of your current fan( the fan itself, not just the wires)

this is a reference GTX 280 cooler, don't know if it will fir your 260 though.

I don't think the 480's fan is the same size as the 260's fan, but you could get that and cut the connector off and solder it to the fan that has the bad connector. if you don't want to solder, find a 260/275/280/285 cooler and just use the fan from it.

I'm not sure, you could always follow them up to the base of the fan and match them up before soldering. With un-color coded wires you can just try it until it works, it might take a few tries, but you will eventually get it.
