Just wanted to stop by to say hello officially! I just recently finished my first build and of course got hooked on DayZ within the first week 
Been playing around on a few official / public hive servers but mostly OCN's. I say mostly OCN's for a few reasons...
Hacking - Hacking has always been apart of gaming, sure. Getting back into PC gaming has been an eye opener. I've encountered hackers in probably 75% of the servers I join. Not OCN's. Through my time on OCN's #1992 & #1993 I've only run into a few hostile players but mostly friendly and or neutral survivors, no hacks.
Connection - I'm located on the US west coast, southern California to be exact. I have a good connection on the servers and from what I've read, server restarts help connection / gameplay and OCN servers restart every 4 hours if I remember correctly.
Timezone - It sucks to come home from work at night and only having servers running my current timezone. Plus I scared of the dark
Reputation - Well this one is easy, its OCN!
So MY QUESTION to you all would be, how serious is the OCN DayZ squad? This is the first I've noticed of there in fact being a squad at all, but I'm interested and would appreciate some info on the matter. I'll be fairly active here on the forums and on DayZ, so it would be awesome to have a server I call home and possibly a squad to help survive with.

but i would love to have friends to play with too if you guys didn't mind :3 hate surviving alone :'( should be up and running January ish. so will deffo have to buy the stand alone :O
