I have a 1920x1200 27.5" monitor and I can honesly say I don't really want a higher resolution. I get better framerates and it looks perfectly fine IMO.

I have the acer led 27 at 1080p, it looks nice and they are not heavy on wallet.....for those who say it's a waste of money....I say lol..

id rather avoid the ebay monitors i want it from a retailer i can return to etc...

is there no best 27" for gaming then?

if not ill just buy 2 of these...

normally they come with a load of dead pixels from what i hear, no warranty and returns to korea.... sounds like not worth the saving

out of the 6 that were ordered between me and 2 other friends, we had a total of ZERO dead pixels across all monitors. while the lack of direct HDMI is a drawback if you need it, they do make D-DVI to HDMI cables.

i do already have one of those actually, i just dont want to be constantly switching plugs between pc and xbox dvi whenever i play...

which monitors do you have exactly? i cant find any of that brand on ebay?

this is exactly what i have. The catleap and the Achieva are the same panel on the inside. all of the monitors we purchased were from Dream-Seller. Ive seen the price as low as 250 per and as high as 360 per. I got mine at 290.

also, you said you have a dvi to hdmi. thats good, but you need to make sure it is DVI-D (dual link) to HDMI. a regular DVI will not work with 1440p. only DVI-D.

DVI-D Dual Link is what you need for a 1440p monitor.
