Hi !

I would like to welcome all of you smile.gif

Finally i completed building my new computer

Core i5 3570K
MSI Z77 GD55 BIOS 1.7
HYPERX DDR3 1600 8GB
EAH5850 DIRECT CU
KINGSTON HYPERX 3K 120G
WD 500GB
OCZ ModxStream 500W

And now i would like to do a little bit OC
This is my first Intel Platform
What I wanted ?

i5 oc to 4,5ghz
memory to 1800 maybe 1866 ( 9-9-9-24 )

Hey mate,

It really comes down to your heatsink that you're using, Ivy tends to get very hot unless you de-lid it (don't ask). So what heatsink have you got?

the psu is bad frown.gif and why a gtx 580 frown.gif I hope you got a good deal from that graphics card

There isn't anything wrong with that PSU, it's completely passable (not great but passable) and on the OCN recommended PSU list

oh i totally misread that. nvm I thought it was a 580 paired with that PSU not a 5850 that's why I didn't like the PSU.

you need a good cooler with ivybridge. mine got toasty even with an NH-D14

500w is fine for a single 580.
