How to make a Ghost XP

Thread Starter
Hi,

What is the easiest and quickest method for making XP Ghost copy.

I want to install a fresh copy of Windows XP, then I'll install quite a number of softwares and programs I use regularly. Once done with the installation I need to make a ghost of it so that I can get a back up for future XP installation, please advise.

Thank You!

I don't remember the version number but I used to use norton ghost. worked great, was the only norton product I ever used that wasn't a nightmare.

Norton Ghost is good. You can use Hiren's Boot CD 10.6, it has Ghost on it, that's what I mostly use. I'll go find the link.

http://www.hirensbootcd.org/hbcd-v106/

Scroll to the bottom and download the zip. Burn the ISO to disk. Go to DOS Programs > Backup Tools > Norton Ghost > Norton Ghost (normal). Then press enter at each prompt.
