if you are spending 160 bucks i would say spend a bit more and get the HD 7850. i recommend the 2GB as the HD 7850 is very powerful GPU and you wouldn't want to run out of VRAM in games like BF3 , Skyrim with mods with such a powerful GPU. here is a factory overclocked HD 7850 at 1 Ghz and runs on par with GTX 660. Farcry 3 free game. so if you don't want the game sell the coupon for 20 - 30 bucks.

what games and resolution.?
GTX 560 and HD 6870 do battle evenly but by less than the GTX 560 Ti of course..

If I just spend a little more I could get a 7950. Ok, I do get that if you spend more you will get more, and I appreciate the info but I am just trying to get what is in my range and the best bang for the buck, I would love a super high end card but I can't justify spending that much on it right before XMas. I was hoping to keep it aroung $150 and then upgrade in the future. Plus I also want to add more memory and get an FX8350 chip in the not too distant future.

Sometime between friday and next friday i will buy a card, I will take what I have learned and get the best I can. If I can swing $200 I will but it depends on what's left after bills and how good the black friday deals will be. I will sell my 4670 for a couple of bucks after I get the new one which will help, I know I can't get much but I can get something.
