It worked for me! I think the hardest part was figuring out how to create an ms dos bootable usb stick, after that flashed my rev 2.1 with the GHZ tahiti bios, , keep in mind this was done after a 12 pack of miller high life. Gpu seems to be idling at 33C and somewhere around 48C load. So now I think I'm done with OC'ing and modding stuff for a good minute lol

Can you share your bios?
I have 7970 OC 3GD. It will flash without any issues?

Check within this thread, it won't let me upload a .rom file to here, however I believe on the first page you should find it. I used HP USB disk storage format tool and follow the instructions to create an ms dos boot disk on your flash drive. You also need to download the win 98 ms dos files, just google it and should pop up. Next take the tahiti.rom file in this thread and put that plus atflash.exe in the root folder on the usb drive( no sub folders) and follow the code used within msdos. It should work, and for any reason it doesn't switch over to bios number 2 on the card( right next to the crossfire bridge on the side) and attempt recovery, That's it, let me know if you have any troubles with it, should realy only take 5 seconds when you're in msdos to do it. Hope this helps

Hi,

I plan to buy one Gigabyte card, a guy told me it's locked, and it's rev 2.0,

so the question is : will unlocked bios for rev2.1 work on rev2.0 or not ???

I saw hardware mod at HWBOT, intended for rev1.0, so if that is needed,
not a big deal for me, will make it in 10 minutes + bios flash,
but ... anybody knows if it will work for rev2.0 ???

thanx in advance
