Well gaming would depend on Single core performance more so then HT.. so you can Compare to this..



It is pretty Much a 2600k + 300mhz clock for clock with Pci-e 3.0 and you are able to slap a 2800mhz Memory kit into it..

Has a similar performance, but i7 3770K is a bit better for clock for clock (5%~10%) and use less voltaje for overclocking.

Not everything is priced as well as their CPU's though. However... you can easily walk in for a CPU, then walk out with a bunch of stuff you THINK you might possibly use sometime in the near/distant future
