AMD's got a 13% performance lead over them in terms of raw FP64 GFLOPS... with a 60% higher TDP.

Looks like NVIDIA will maintain its stronghold in the HPC market.

AMD card is a workstation card though, aimed at people who want to actually use the thing as a video card. Aren't the tesla cards mainly server / hpc / data crunching only things?

Belay that, read the source a bit closer. I thought firepro cards were aimed at quadros, not teslas. Things change I suppose.
