Well I have the GTX 460 SLI now for about two years and I can still run everything fine for another half year, if I would have had a GTX 470 SLI I could run for another year or two.

I'm sure you can last 3 years with a GTX 670 SLI setup but I would wait for the 7** series if I were you

Hmm , so far 50% say : "GO for the 670 and SLI to match the 7xx " and the other 50% : " Wait for the 7xx series" , so could you justify your answer ? rolleyes.gif

i would say yes.

i bought one and it was the best decision ever. it was decently priced for me at the time, and now prices are going down i bought a 2nd one. if you can wait a little more wait till it goes down ever more in price the pick one up. but overall my experiences were very positive.

i dont think i dipped below 60fps with maxed everything in 1080p. at 1440p, it made it work harder hence i bought a 2nd one. to be honest with one monitor at 1080p one 670 was enough to play anything i ever wanted and i didn't even need to overclock it.

i oc'd both my cards recently, and the performance was so good already i don't even notice the OC improve anything at all. thats just my experiences with it ^_^ good luck with your research. i btw have the evga gtx 670 FTWs.
