need a good racing game

Whats a good game thatl give my pc a run for its money?

Ive got all the dirt games but ive played em all to death.

Is there anything like forza, project gotham racing or gran turismo available for pc?

Not a fan of need for speed games they seem a bit childish from what i remember.

Ive got a ps3 with gran turismo but the graphics and framerate on consoles are shocking compared to what my pc can rock out.

Test drive unlimited 2 looks like a contender, does anybody play this online these days? If i buy it is there gona be a test drive 3 out in a few months?

Need for speed shift 2 seems like a good contender. I would still love if turn 10 would come to the pc, but they have stated they dont ever plan on it.

I play F1 2012 a bit and it is pretty good. Another one is GTR Evolution ( it is a older game but still looks and plays good). They both have good graphics and are pretty close to being real for a game anyway. Just my 2 cents

rfactor2 is pretty good. beta still.

iracing is the best racing sim ever made.

project car looks really good but i hate everything else about it. well the sounds are good too.

dirt 3 looks good but i dont like the way it feels. to arcady.

f12012 is pretty good. its not a sim and its not arcade. it could be something like a simcade but i think that it has more sim feeling than arcade.

euro truck simulator 2 is not a racing game but is a really good driving game. you drive trucks ofcourse. the graphics are not bad but are not great.

raceroom might be a good game when it comes out. you can try the teaser on steam. it still has driving aids that cant be disabled. it looks nice and sounds great like all the other sim bin games.

Wasn't it made by some of the people that used to be Papyrus Design Group? Those guys were THE BEST at racing sims. My first PC game was one of their games: IndyCar Racing. thumb.gif

yes. exactly the same team. it is a subscription based but it has everything from road racing to ovals. ovals being amazing because they really did alot of homework with nascar racing. the tracks are all laser scanned and so are the cars. the racing is online and it has the best and most active sim racing community of any sim.
