for USD 150 you could grab a GTX 560. but if you spend 20 bucks more you can get HD 7850 1GB . if possible go for HD 7850 2GB for 190 bucks. the best card for gaming within 200 bucks. HD 7850 overclocks brilliantly and matches GTX 580 at 1.2 Ghz.

Unfortunately, I'm thinking $150 will be too much. Here is a link to the build this is for...as you can see, I have alot of stuff to purchase and I'm already over budget by $50!

Some general notes about ATI and Nvidia cards at the same price range. ATI provides a good raw power in core clock and processors (with an affordable price), but Nvidia provides that AND a card that is built for Nvidia technology (that usually includes great overclock potential). For example, if a game used PhysX, the Nvidia card would take less of an impact than ATI cards, and we all love PhysX (because the water effects are amazing). ATI is affordability, Nvidia is pure performance (Don't get me wrong, the competition is getting close, but Nvidia has the edge with software technology such as PhysX).

Not many games use PhysX. Very few games to be exact. It's more to a gimmick from Nvidia. It's a waste to actually spend more bucks just for a technology that is rarely use in any past, current or upcoming games. Choosing AMD card is far more better considering its performance-price ratio. Beside, this guy has $150 in his pocket to spend. He better go with AMD HD 7700/7800 instead of GTX 650/any other GTX.

I'm not arguing with you smile.gif I mentioned that ATI's have great affordability, I myself am an AMD > Intel person. In this case, I do believe ATI is the better choice.
