Having trouble with fitment

Thread Starter
I currently am running an HX850 by corsair, and im having alot of troubles with getting my make power cables to fit the way i want them to.I have a full case and i can just barely get the 24pin to fit using my routing holes provided. My 8 pin has to cross over the entire front part of the mobo just to fit, i can't route it any other way.

My main question is this: If i switch to a fully modular psu like the AX850 will i be able to route everything through the routing gromets provided by my case and any other full case without any problems? I planned on grabbing an AX850 and purchasing corsairs white sleeved cables for it also but i want to make my new build tidy with wires cleaned up nicely. Its frustrating not being able to route my cables the way i want them because of the length limitations of my HX.

Not in a big case, you won't. In big cases, you need extensions for the wires anyway. If I'm not mistaken you're looking at buying a new case, right? A modular PSU would allow you to do fully custom cables quite easily.
