They all looked at me like if I was a retard or something because for them, the game was out for a few days now.
I told them that because of their crappy consoles I had to wait for a proper PC release much later on.
I also told them that the game they played and thought was absolutely awesome graphically was in fact graphics from 2004-2005 and they do not know what PC is capable of.
I think it pushed 1-2 to get interested into PC, I don't mean to be a prick to them for playing consoles, but they are in fact participating into console ports which makes us, PC gamers, getting crappy ports and chopped games.
I don't mind waiting, I just hate people who play on consoles and call themselves gamers.

This attitude makes PC gamers look bad. Consoles are as much the backbone of the gaming industry as PC - always have been and always will be. Beyond that, it's not even the consoles' fault that publishers and developers aren't willing to look past the bottom line for the sake of innovation. And it certainly isn't console gamers' fault. Blame your precious devs for failing to deliver current-gen tech on all platforms. It's all done in the name of dollars.

Hopefully they'll do what they've been doing since GTA3, release it almost a year after the console version.

I'm surprised that they won't release it on the Wii U. The game could look so fantastic, and I'm sure they'd sell craploads on it. We, the Nintendo crew, also love GTAs.

Doesn't like a PC title is being planned for at least a year. R* last "blockbuster" Max Payne 3 didn't do too well on PC. Gota wait till most people have picked it up for console, before a PC version is even announced.

Business....sigh

Not sure if I should even wonder if the PC version will be released, and even worth buying due to the optimization issues in IV.

Honestly, I loved the Episodes of Liberty City more than the original IV.

p.s. - I wonder why "they all looked at you as if you were a retard?" Lol thumb.gifthumb.gif

It is gamers' fault. If those gamers all had a PC we wouldn't be running DX9 games on PC in 2012.

So I guess some of the greatest games of all time, like Ocarina of Time, aren't "games", and people who play them aren't "gamers". Right.
Some people play on consoles, other people play on PCs, boo-hoo.

Okay, your taking it to far. There was once a time for Console Gamers to coexist with us PC Gamers. That time has ended. Long ago.

Sure, let's blame gamers for the poor decisions made by developers. Developers have lost the desire to push technical boundaries, but because they're still producing quality titles that folks still wanna play, it's all the gamer's fault. We're practically holding a gun to these companies' heads telling them not to be ambitious like they once were.

A real gamer plays videos games, period. It doesn't matter the platform, the tech behind the game, the genre or the hours they've invested. A game is a game. Heck, most people prior to this generation were gamers because they experienced a console game at some point in the last 30 years.

Get over yourself.
